Pea Julius

Reliable Yields in Steppe and Forest-Steppe Zones

The «Yuliy» pea variety is a selective product developed by the Institute of Feed and Agriculture of Podillia (NAAS), designed for growers who prioritize consistency over risky intensive farming methods. Unlike many imported hybrids that require flawless conditions, «Yuliy» exhibits remarkable adaptability to Ukraine's diverse soil and climatic conditions, making it a reliable tool for professional agronomy.

Genetic Resistance: Your Primary Defense

The most significant challenge in pea cultivation is the management of pathogens and pests. The «Yuliy» variety alleviates much of this burden through its inherent genetic resistance:

• Phytosanitary Stability: The variety demonstrates strong resistance to root rot, downy mildew (peronosporosis), and ascochyta blight. This allows for a significant reduction in fungicide applications during the growing season.
• Pest Tolerance: Due to its natural resistance to the pea seed beetle and pea moth, the risk of crop damage during storage and loss of grain quality is minimized.

Optimized for Grain Production

«Yuliy» is specifically bred for grain production. It is the ideal choice for farms aiming to balance input costs with profitability. On fertile soils, the variety expresses its maximum yield potential while maintaining its robust immunity throughout the cycle. For producers looking to reduce pesticide loads without sacrificing productivity, «Yuliy» offers a dependable solution that withstands the unpredictability of modern weather patterns.
