Peas of the KS FavorIT variety are mid-season, high-yielding with a vegetative period from germination to technical maturity of about 56-73 days. The bush-type plant reaches a height of 60-75 cm with dark green leaves covered in a waxy coating. Stems are robust, up to 75 cm long, ensuring resistance to lodging. Pods are dark green, 8-10 cm long and 8-9 mm in diameter, containing 6 to 8 seeds; the mass of 1000 seeds is 130-150 grams. The variety is characterized by synchronized ripening and high market uniformity of peas.
KS FavorIT is intended for fresh consumption, and also suitable for freezing and canning due to its high taste qualities. Peas have a pleasant sweetish taste and juiciness, making them a universal product for various culinary applications. Moreover, the variety is rich in proteins, fiber, and vitamins, which promotes improved metabolism and enriches the body with useful microelements.
A feature of the variety is its resistance to diseases such as fusarium, as well as adverse weather conditions and temperature fluctuations. For successful cultivation, it is recommended to ensure regular watering and choose well-lit areas. In each pod, 2-3 fruits form with 6-8 peas, which contributes to a high yield, reaching up to 156 centners per hectare.
