Maize DMS Tudor

Sustainable yields in demanding environments

Ukrainian agricultural science has evolved significantly, and the work of "Company Mais" stands at the forefront of this progress. The DMS Tudor hybrid is a testament to localized breeding aimed at tackling the specific challenges of the steppe and forest-steppe zones. As a simple hybrid, it is engineered for intensity and resilience, making it a reliable choice for commercial grain producers looking for predictability.

Agronomic profile and pest management

For modern farmers, risk mitigation is as crucial as yield potential. DMS Tudor is highly regarded for its inherent resistance to common threats, particularly boil smut and the European corn borer. By choosing a hybrid with such robust biological defenses, agricultural enterprises can effectively manage their chemical input costs while ensuring plant health throughout the season.

• Hybrid Type: Simple, ensuring high uniformity of crops, which leads to more efficient mechanized harvesting.
• Phytosanitary Barrier: High resistance to key maize diseases, preserving stem integrity and ear quality until harvest.
• Biological Defense: Genetic tolerance against pests like the corn borer, reducing the dependency on intensive insecticide applications.

DMS Tudor has built a reputation for its excellent moisture release and vegetative stability, even under sub-optimal rainfall conditions. The breeders at "Company Mais" have focused on maximizing nutrient-to-grain conversion, ensuring that the plant spends its energy on production rather than recovering from pathogen or pest stress. It remains a strategic asset for farmers aiming for consistent production cycles in a highly variable climate.
