DMS Tristan

DMS Tristan is a medium-maturing corn hybrid with FAO 270, developed by MAIS for cultivation across all regions of Ukraine, including steppe and forest-steppe zones. It is distinguished by high drought resistance, heat tolerance, resilience to stress conditions and pests, ensuring a stable yield even under challenging climatic conditions. The vegetative period of the hybrid varies depending on the region: 116 days in Polissia, 112 days in the forest-steppe, and 108 days in the steppe.

The hybrid has high yield potential, reaching up to 16 tons per hectare in Polissia, 15.5 tons in the forest-steppe, and 14 tons in the steppe. The plant reaches a height of 245 cm, with ear attachment height of 100 cm. The ear has a cylindrical shape with 14-18 rows of yellow-red kernels. A distinctive feature of the hybrid is the pronounced Stay Green trait, indicating prolonged retention of green plant mass, positively affecting both quality and quantity of the harvest.
