Pea Captain

Proven Ukrainian Genetics

The «Kapitan» pea variety is a signature product developed by the V. Ya. Yuriev Institute of Plant Production NAAS. In the Ukrainian agricultural market, this variety is recognized as a reliable, mid-season solution tailored for stable performance in temperate climate zones. It is highly valued by agronomists for its predictability and consistent yield output, making it a pragmatic choice for producers focusing on cost-efficient farming strategies.

Enhanced Biological Resilience

A defining trait of the «Kapitan» variety is its innate genetic resistance to common pea pathogens. Specifically, the variety demonstrates significant tolerance against fusarium wilt and powdery mildew. In high-risk areas where fungal pressure typically leads to substantial crop losses, this characteristic provides a built-in biological shield, reducing the reliance on aggressive fungicide applications and improving overall harvest security.
