Pea CARRINGTON

Carrington: The New Benchmark in Pea Breeding

The 2025 agricultural season marks the introduction of Carrington, a pea variety that brings French breeding excellence to the Ukrainian market. Developed by Norddeutsche Pflanzenzucht Hans-Georg Lembke KG, this variety is engineered to meet the challenges of modern intensive farming.

Unmatched Regional Versatility

What sets Carrington apart is its exceptional adaptability. Officially registered in Ukraine in 2025, it is specifically optimized for all major agro-climatic zones, including the Steppe, Forest-Steppe, and Polissya. This makes it a strategic asset for large-scale operations managing diverse land portfolios.

Key Advantages for Growers

• Yield Stability: The genetic profile of Carrington is designed to mitigate risks associated with extreme temperature fluctuations and moisture stress.
• Agronomic Efficiency: The variety is bred for uniform maturation, ensuring optimal performance during mechanized harvesting and reducing field losses.
• Market-Ready Quality: High protein content and excellent seed uniformity ensure that the harvest meets the stringent requirements of both domestic processors and international export markets.

Carrington is the ideal choice for agronomists who prioritize consistency and predictability. By choosing this variety, producers gain a reliable tool that performs reliably across the diverse climatic landscape of Ukraine, ensuring a stable return on investment regardless of the specific regional conditions.
