Pea Rain

Stable Yields in a Short Timeframe

The «Rein» pea variety from VNIS is a strategic choice for farms focused on intensive land use. With a growing season of 70–80 days, this variety allows fields to be cleared early, which is critical for maintaining crop rotation schedules and preparing soil for winter crops.

Practical Advantages for Farm Management

• Optimized Logistics: The short vegetative period of «Rein» reduces peak pressure on harvesting equipment, allowing for harvest completion before the main cereal grain harvest begins.
• Mechanization Compatibility: The medium plant height is ideal for modern combine headers, ensuring minimal losses during harvesting operations.
• Expert Breeding: Developed by VNIS (authors Parii A. F., Parii Ya. F., and others), this variety is specifically tailored to Ukrainian climatic conditions, ensuring predictable results even with variable moisture levels.

Choosing this variety makes sense for fields where a balance between early maturity and high productivity is required. «Rein» exhibits the resilience characteristic of VNIS selection and is adapted to standard Ukrainian agronomic environments. It is a reliable tool for farmers who need a clear return on investment with minimal risk: plant, maintain the standard technology, harvest quickly, and move on to the next soil cultivation cycle.
