Golden Millet Poltavskoye — an ultra-early red millet variety distinguished by high yield and resistance to adverse conditions. The vegetation period is 48–55 days, making it suitable for second sowing and enabling two harvests per season. The potential yield reaches up to 66.7 centners per hectare, with grain yield up to 81%, and protein content ranging from 11.2% to 13.5%. The variety is resistant to diseases such as rust and melanosis, as well as pests, lodging, and shattering, making it a reliable choice for agricultural production. Plants reach a height of 60–74.4 cm, forming airy, not overly dense, and branched panicles about 19–20 cm long with a characteristic bronze-golden hue. Due to its decorative appeal, the variety can be used not only in agriculture but also for ornamental purposes, enhancing flower beds and garden plots. Millet is easy to sow and germinate, and it exhibits high drought resistance, which is especially important for regions with insufficient moisture. The technological characteristics of the variety allow for direct combine harvesting, simplifying the harvest process. Optimal sowing time is late May to early June, with a seeding rate of 20–45 kg per hectare. Fine details such as 1000-seed mass (8.1–8.4 g) and awniness (10–15%), along with high resistance to diseases and pests, make this variety profitable and practical for cultivation. The price per ton of seeds is 14,000 UAH, with orders starting from one ton.
