Millet GOLDEN NIVA

Breeding Excellence for Steppe Farming

The «Zolotaya Niva» (Golden Field) millet variety, developed by the «Aktiv Agro» team (Saratov region) along with breeders Marina Serebryakova and Valery Zhuzhukin, serves as a prime example of adaptive breeding for challenging agricultural zones. Designed for stable performance in regions with irregular moisture, this variety is a reliable tool for consistent grain production.

Agronomic Profile and Resistance

A distinctive feature of «Zolotaya Niva» is its high resistance to lodging, a critical factor for successful mechanized harvesting. The variety's genetic potential is geared toward overcoming major phytopathological threats, specifically exhibiting strong resistance to smut diseases, including stem smut. Thanks to the expertise of its originators, the variety maintains a productive balance between yield potential and essential health resilience.
