Novokievskoye 01

The corn hybrid Novokievskoye 01 is medium-maturing and recommended for cultivation in the Polissya and forest-steppe regions. It was registered in 2004 and developed by the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine. This hybrid is characterized by high resistance to shattering, which ensures crop preservation and enhances its quality.

Novokievskoye 01 also demonstrates high cold resistance, making it especially valuable for breeding and adaptation to adverse climatic conditions. Thanks to this trait, the hybrid can be successfully grown in regions with cool climates, ensuring stable yields.

Moreover, the hybrid has a high protein content — about 13.6%, which is among the best indicators among modern corn hybrids. It also features a high grain yield — 83.2%, and low seed coat content — 12.9%, which facilitates processing and increases the nutritional value of the product. These qualities make Novokievskoye 01 attractive for farmers aiming to obtain high-quality and high-yield raw material.
