Description Julian
The narrow-leaved lupine variety 'Julian' is a grain-type plant developed through intraspecific hybridization and multi-stage individual selection under a fusarium background. It ensures a high level of seed yield (up to 2.8 t/ha) and green mass (over 40 t/ha), making it attractive for both grain and feed use.

'Julian' plants grow to a height of 65–75 cm, have a determinate morphotype without a rosette stage, and a rapid growth rate. The flowers are light-lilac, stems and leaves are green, and the seeds are white, round-kidney-shaped, with a mass of 130–145 g per 1000 seeds. The vegetative period is 88–90 days, classifying the variety as early-ripening.

The variety demonstrates high resistance to major diseases – fusarium, anthracnose, as well as mechanical damage (lodging, pod cracking). Alkaloid content in seeds is reduced to 0.035%, enhancing safety for feed industry use. Recommended sowing rate – 1.2–1.4 million seeds per hectare with a row spacing of 15 cm, ensuring optimal sowing density for maximum yield.
