White Lupine "Knight" is a perennial plant growing from 70 to 100 cm tall, which attracts attention with its large, dense white inflorescences. Flowers are gathered in generous spike-like inflorescences about 50 cm long and maintain their brightness even in strong sunlight or cloudy conditions. Due to its frost hardiness and light-loving nature, the plant grows easily in open ground, as well as in garden beds, and is suitable for decorating flower beds, rabatok, and wall compositions.
"Knight" has excellent soil properties: like all legumes, it enriches the soil with nitrogen thanks to symbiotic bacteria on the roots. This makes it a valuable addition to the garden, increasing fertility without the need for frequent application of mineral fertilizers. The plant is easily propagated by seeds, which can be sown in spring or autumn; with proper care, it can live in one place for 4–5 years.
For successful cultivation, it is recommended to sow seeds in late March–early April or directly into open ground in the second half of May. Regular pruning of inflorescences not only prevents seed spread but also stimulates repeated flowering by mid-August. "Knight" looks great with bright flowers, walls, and wooden elements of the garden, creating a harmonious and attractive composition regardless of weather conditions.
