Description DEMYDOVSKIY
The "Demydovsky" lupin variety is a grain crop distinguished by a rapid growth rate during the initial vegetation period and a spikelet morphotype. Plant height ranges from 60–75 cm, while the vegetation period lasts 85–90 days. Axillary fruit formation ensures earliness and simultaneous ripening, making cultivation more convenient.

Genetically, the variety demonstrates resistance to fusarium and narrow leaf virus, while maintaining high protein content in the grain (39–41 %). The mass of 1000 seeds falls within the range of 100–105 g. The lupin flower is lemon-yellow, leaves are dark green, and pods are round and white.

"Demydovsky" is suitable for grain use due to yields of 18 to 25 c/ha. The plant is unpretentious in care, grows well on acidic soils, and enriches them with nitrogen, making it a valuable element of the triennial crop rotation. Thanks to its decorativeness and cold resistance, the variety can also be used for landscaping flower gardens and rabatok.
