DescriptionFYODOROVSKIY
The FYODOROVSKIY variety is narrow-leaved lupine (Lupinus angustifolius L.), belonging to mid-season plants with indeterminate growth. It is characterized by rapid growth rate at the beginning of vegetation, as well as average height before flowering and average height at green maturity. Leaves have a rich green shade, and stems are almost devoid of anthocyanin coloration. Flowers are white with a yellow boat tip.
FYODOROVSKIY is distinguished by high yield: pods reach 40 c/ha, and green mass – 300 c/ha, which exceeds the indicators of the standard Crystal variety. Alkaloid content is low (0.043%), which makes the plant safe for feeding and food use.
The variety is resistant to various adverse factors: anthracnose, lodging, pod cracking, and seed shattering on the root. It was developed in the Leningrad region during 2002–2018, adapted to the conditions of the Northwestern region, and included in the State Register of Breeding Achievements of the Russian Federation in 2021.
