Roland decorative grass mix is designed for arid areas where maintaining a green lawn color is important even during hot summer periods. The seed composition includes 30% red fescue RUFILLA, 20% red fescue ROLAND, 35% perennial ryegrass HENRIETTA, 5% meadow-grass MERCURY, and 10% crested fescue MUSTANG. Such a balance ensures high drought resistance, sun exposure tolerance, and good coverage density.
For planting, prepare the area from early spring to mid-autumn: remove weeds, stones, and debris, dig the soil to a depth of 15–20 cm, level the surface, and compact it. Spread seeds evenly (rate – 1 kg per 30 m²), then sow in a cross pattern, rake them, and cover with a depth of 0.5–1 cm. After planting, slightly roll the seeds.
Lawn care includes the first mowing at a height of 10 cm, followed by regular mowing and sufficient irrigation by overhead sprinkling in the morning or evening; on hot days, twice a day is recommended. In spring and summer, apply fertilizers with high nitrogen content, and in autumn, those with low potassium and phosphorus levels to maintain grass health and prevent excessive growth.
