Lawn seed mix 'Mauritian Floral Paradise' is a carefully selected combination of grasses and decorative plants, creating a bright and picturesque meadow. The mix is based on various varieties of red brome: BORNADO (15%), AIDA (10%) and REVERENT (30%). These species provide dense coverage, resistance to mechanical loads and attractive coloring from deep red to bright pink shades. The composition is complemented by meadow fescue BROOKLAWN, grassy thin HIGHLAND, timothy FRWL-1 and French ryegrass, as well as 25% of seeds of annual and perennial grasses and flowers, which give the lawn a variety of shapes and aromas.
The mix is distinguished by high drought resistance and light-loving, which makes it suitable for planting in open areas with good lighting. The vegetation period is 60-80 days, the plant reaches a height of 40-60 cm, and the perennial nature allows using the lawn without frequent replanting. To achieve optimal results, it is recommended to sow seeds at a depth of 1-2 cm in the period from April to June.
Care for the lawn is simple and does not require intensive mowing: the first time you can cut to a height of 10 cm in the spring, after which regular cuts are made as needed. Watering is desirable in the morning or evening, especially in hot weather, and feeding with fertilizers with high nitrogen content in the spring and summer periods promotes rapid growth and rich color. Thanks to the soft texture and strength, the mix is suitable for greening of children's playgrounds and recreation areas, providing a safe surface for children.
