Smooth brome Koreil

A Robust Foundation for Long-Term Turf

Smooth brome 'Coreil', developed by the Danish breeding giant DLF, is the choice for those who prioritize structural integrity and longevity over fragile, ornamental aesthetics. Unlike fine-leaved varieties that often require frequent over-seeding, 'Coreil' establishes a deep, resilient root system, allowing the turf to remain dense and healthy for 5 to 7 years, even under moderate foot traffic and environmental stress.

Core Benefits of 'Coreil'

• Natural Disease Resistance: One of the most significant challenges in turf management is Red Thread disease. 'Coreil' features high genetic resistance to this pathogen, ensuring your turf stays clean and uniform, especially in humid climates where other varieties often suffer from thinning.
• Proven Durability: With a lifespan of up to 7 years, this variety is a cost-effective solution for large-scale landscaping, public recreational areas, and multifunctional grounds.
• Danish Breeding Excellence: As part of the DLF portfolio, 'Coreil' benefits from rigorous selection processes designed to ensure consistent growth and survival across varying Northern and Central European climates.

Who Should Choose This Variety?

'Coreil' is not designed for the manicured aesthetic of a display lawn; it is engineered for performance. It is the optimal choice for landscape architects and agronomists managing sites with strict maintenance budgets, where reliable coverage is non-negotiable. While its leaf texture is coarser than that of elite parterre grasses, this trade-off is essential for its exceptional toughness and low-input requirements. If you need a turf that balances durability, low maintenance, and long-term stability, 'Coreil' is a top-tier performer in its class.
