LANTERN is a variety of hybrid clover (Trifolium hybridum L.) intended for hayland and pasture use. The plant is diploid with a semi-prostrate bush, ranging from 75 to 109 cm in height. The leaves are elongated-oval, green in color with serrated edges and a smooth surface. The inflorescences are medium-density heads with a pinkish hue. The seeds are heart-shaped, green with a swampy tint, with a hard seed content ranging from 25 to 40%. Clover LANTERN is characterized by good adaptation to soils with increased acidity, which expands the possibilities for its cultivation in various agro-climatic conditions. Despite medium susceptibility to clover scab, the variety maintains high productivity and stability, making it in demand for fodder purposes. Thanks to its characteristics, this variety is widely used for creating haylands and pastures, providing quality feed for livestock. The variety features include a semi-prostrate bush form and specific inflorescence coloring, which facilitates its identification and care. High hard seed content contributes to good germination and crop stability. LANTERN is a reliable choice for farmers seeking to improve fodder production efficiency on acidic soils and ensure a stable yield of quality clover.
