BROME BORNEO – a decorative perennial grass intended for creating dense and even lawns in parks, gardens, and shady areas. The mixture is dominated by brome reed (BORNEO 35%, MUSTANG 30%) and red brome REVERENT (10%), which provide strength, wind resistance, and weather tolerance, while contributing to the formation of a dense cover. Additional components – perennial ryegrass HENRIETTA and FANCY (10% each) – enhance the lawn's durability against mechanical damage and increase its drought resistance.
The mixture also includes bluegrass, meadow foxtail MERCURY, and other small grass species, which improve soil structure and ensure more even seed distribution. Thanks to the combination of sun-loving and shade-loving varieties, the BORNEO lawn retains a rich green color even in semi-shade, and its high cold hardiness allows use in various climatic conditions.
For planting, a sowing rate of 20–30 g/m² is recommended. Seeds germinate easily and quickly form a dense cover, creating an emerald 'carpet' with a homogeneous structure. BROME BORNEO is suitable for both private gardens and public parks where a long-lasting and aesthetically attractive lawn is required.
