Citronny Magaracha grape variety belongs to early-mid ripening period, with a ripening period of about 125-135 days. Bunches have medium and above-medium vigor, with well-ripening vines. Flowers are perfect, which contributes to good pollination and crop formation. Bunches have cylinder-conical or conical shape, winged, of medium density, weighing from 300 to 408 grams. Berries are of medium size, round, colored greenish-yellow and yellow, with a thin and strong skin. Flesh is juicy, with a harmonious taste and pronounced citron-musk aroma. Sugar content of berries reaches 25-28%, at acidity 5-7 g/l, which gives the grape special sweetness and rich taste. One berry contains 2-3 oval seeds of medium size. Variety yield is high — from 150 to 200 centners per hectare. Optimal load on the bunch is 30 buds when pruning to 2-4 buds, which contributes to good development and fruiting of the plant. Citronny Magaracha differs in increased resistance to main fungal diseases, such as downy mildew, powdery mildew and gray rot, as well as tolerant to phylloxera. Variety has high frost resistance and is able to withstand temperatures up to -25°C. Due to its qualities and characteristics, Citronny Magaracha grape is recommended for production of high-quality dessert wine materials, possessing rich aroma and harmonious taste.
