GURZUF RUBY

Gurzuf Ruby is an early-ripening grape variety characterized by vigorous growth and hermaphroditic flowers. The vines mature well, and the bushes possess high frost resistance, tolerating temperatures down to -25 °C. Bunches are medium or sometimes large, cylindrical or cylinder-conical in shape with a wings, loose, weighing from 200 to 450 grams. Berries are of medium size, round, dark red in color with thick skin and fleshy, juicy pulp. The grape taste is harmonious and pleasant, with a pronounced strong muscat aroma, making it particularly attractive for fresh consumption. Berry sugar content reaches 25-29%, and acidity is 6-7 g/l, ensuring a balanced taste. The optimal load on the bush during pruning is up to 40 buds, which contributes to high yields - about 150 g/l. The variety is characterized by good resistance to major fungal diseases such as downy mildew, gray rot, and powdery mildew, and also possesses field resistance to phylloxera. Gurzuf Ruby is widely used not only for fresh consumption but also for the production of high-quality pink dessert wines. Its muscat taste and aroma make wines from this variety particularly exquisite and rich.
