Greenolugsky Rubin is an early grape variety developed at the Fruit Experimental Station of TSXA through crossing hybrid form XV-8-34 and the Mizia variety. The maturation period is about 125 days, allowing for early harvest. Leaves are dark green, large, and medium-lobed; clusters are medium or large, branched, with medium density or loose. Berries are round, dark blue-black, medium or large in size, with 2-3 seeds each. The variety shows high resistance to fungal diseases, frost resistance up to -25 °C, and immunity to phylloxera, making it reliable for cultivation in various climatic conditions. Greenolugsky Rubin boasts high yields — averaging 115.5 centners per hectare, with maximum figures reaching up to 150 centners. Juice sugar content reaches 19.7 g/100 cm³, and acidity is 7.3 g/dm³, ensuring a harmonious flavor balance with a light tartness and sweetness. This grape variety is widely used in winemaking due to its high flavor quality and rich dark blue berry color. Wines made from Greenolugsky Rubin receive high tasting scores, reaching 7.7 points, indicating a rich aroma and excellent taste qualities. It is recommended to form the bush as a two-armed horizontal cordons, which promotes optimal development and fruiting of the plant. Thanks to its characteristics, Greenolugsky Rubin is suitable both for commercial cultivation and for producing quality wines.
