Livadiysky Black is a technical grape variety with early-mid ripening, distinguished by medium-sized bushes with good vine maturation and hermaphroditic flowers. The clusters are predominantly cylindrical, of medium density and mass of about 250 grams, with wings and a cylindrical-conical shape. The berries are of medium size, round, black in color with an intense waxy coating (bloom), have a thin but tough skin, and a pleasant taste with a pronounced delicate muscat aroma. The sugar content of the juice varies from 21 to 26%, and acidity is 7-8 g/l, which ensures optimal indicators for producing high-quality wines. The variety yield reaches 110-150 centners per hectare, while the load on the bush during pruning is up to 30 buds. Livadiysky Black has high field resistance to diseases such as mildew, gray rot, and oidium, as well as frost resistance up to -25°C. Resistance to phylloxera is under study. This variety is recommended for making light, harmonious dessert wines with delicate aromatic nuances of muscat, as well as notes of chocolate and prune. Wines from Livadiysky Black differ in high tasting evaluation and are popular due to their exquisite taste and aroma.
