AG-Raisin Harvest

AG-Raisin Harvest is a mid-season table grape variety, a spontaneous somatic mutant of the Ag Raisin variety, bred at the Dagestan Research Station of Viticulture and Horticulture. The vines are vigorous with full shoot ripening. Leaves are of medium size, deeply lobed, five-lobed, with a smooth dark green upper surface and non-hairy underside. Flowers are bisexual, ensuring good pollination and crop formation.

Berries are large, conical in shape, loose or medium density, sometimes branched, with a medium length stalk. Berries are large, round or slightly oval, yellow-green in color with medium thickness skin and strong structure. Flesh is meaty and juicy with a harmonious taste that can be characterized as simple. Seeds are of medium size. The period from bud break to consumer readiness is 125-135 days with a sum of active temperatures of 2600-2800°C.

The variety is characterized by very high yield — up to 80-100 centners per hectare. Winter hardiness and resistance to diseases and pests are at a medium level, however, the variety is relatively resistant to frost, drought, and downy mildew compared to other Euro-Asian varieties. Grapes are well transported and used both fresh and for drying and making compotes, making them universal and in demand in various application areas.
