EXPECTED

The EXPECTED grape variety is a popular early-maturing table hybrid developed by Ukrainian breeder V. Kraynov. The ripening period lasts from 105 to 115 days, allowing for harvest collection at the end of July – beginning of August. This variety belongs to the seedless group, characterized by the absence of seeds and high yield. Bushes are vigorous with well-maturing canes, which contributes to stable fruiting and high market value of the berries.

The clusters are large, conical in shape, weighing from 600 to 950 grams. Berries are large, elongated or muscat-shaped, white or amber in color, with an average weight of 7-10 grams. The flesh is firm, fleshy and juicy with a pleasant, harmonious taste and high sugar content (18-22%). The skin is thin and soft, almost imperceptible when eaten, making the variety especially attractive for fresh consumption. Due to good transportability, the grapes are suitable not only for fresh consumption but also for making juices, jams and other products.

The EXPECTED variety is characterized by medium resistance to diseases, in particular to downy mildew, and frost resistance down to -23°C. For optimal fruiting, a load of 22-24 shoots with 30-35 buds per bush is recommended, and fruiting canes should be pruned to 8-10 buds. Grapes begin to bear fruit in the third year after planting, which makes them attractive for gardeners seeking an early and stable harvest with high taste and market qualities.
