ANNIVERSARY OF NOVOCHEKASSK

The 'Anniversary of Novocherlussk' grape variety is an early-ripening table variety bred by amateur breeder V.N. Kraynov. This hybrid was obtained by crossing the Talisman and Kishmish Luchistiy varieties. The fruiting period lasts from 110 to 120 days, allowing for harvest collection at the beginning to mid-August. The bushes possess high growth vigor, and the canes ripen well, which contributes to stable and high yields.

The grape clusters are large, conical in shape, medium density, weighing from 0.8 to 1.5 kg. The berries are elongated-oval, pale pink or white-pink in color, weighing from 12 to 20 grams. The flesh is fleshy, juicy, and medium density, with a harmonious and pleasant taste. The skin is edible, medium density, and does not impair the flavor of the fruit. The sugar content of the berries reaches approximately 16.8 g/cm³, and acidity is about 5.9 g/dm³, which ensures good sugar accumulation and a balanced taste.

The variety is distinguished by increased resistance to fungal diseases, rated at 3-3.5 points, as well as good transportability. The flower is perfect, which ensures good pollination. Frost resistance of the variety reaches -23 °C. Due to the high juice content and excellent taste qualities, the 'Anniversary of Novocherlussk' grape is suitable not only for fresh consumption but also for winemaking.
