The Khatmi Harvest grape variety is a somatic mutant of the Khatmi variety, bred at the Dagestan State Vineyard and Vegetable Research Station. It is a table grape variety with a medium ripening period, characterized by vigorous bushes and good shoot maturation. Leaves are large, five-lobed, deeply cut, with a hairless lower surface. Bunches are of medium size, conical in shape, and of medium density; they are sometimes branched with a long peduncle. Berries are round, medium-sized, with white or yellowish-green skin of medium thickness covered with a waxy bloom. The flesh is crisp, the taste is good, and the berries usually contain two seeds of medium size. The variety is distinguished by high yield, which reaches an average of 224 centners per hectare over five years in Dербent conditions. The period from bud break to full berry maturity is about 132 days with a sum of active temperatures of 280 degrees Celsius. Khatmi Harvest has medium winter hardiness and disease resistance: increased resistance to downy mildew, medium susceptibility to powdery mildew and grey rot. Thanks to these characteristics, the variety is recommended for cultivation in the North Caucasus region. This grape is suitable for fresh consumption due to its good taste and crisp flesh. The berry skin is quite dense, which helps preserve the fruits during transportation and storage. The Khatmi Harvest variety is an excellent choice for gardeners and vintners seeking to obtain high yields of quality table grapes with good resistance to major fungal diseases.
