The Charodeyka apple variety is a winter variety with medium-sized trees and round or elongated-round crowns of medium density. The tree branches are straight, branch off at an angle close to 90 degrees, and are arranged compactly, which ensures ease of care and harvesting. The bark on the trunk is smooth and brownish-gray. Fruit bearing begins in the fourth to fifth year after planting, and there is no observed irregularity in fruiting, indicating stable yield of the variety. Charodeyka apples have medium or above-average size, weighing about 145 grams, with a maximum weight reaching 160-165 grams. The apples are of the correct flat-round shape with a smooth surface, colored greenish-yellow with a purple-red coating. The flesh of the fruits is white or yellowish, finely grained, juicy, of medium density, with a sour-sweet taste and a pronounced aroma reminiscent of the Cox Orange variety. The taste of the fruits is highly rated for dessert qualities. The Charodeyka variety is distinguished by high winter hardiness and resistance to scab, which is ensured by both monogenic and polygenic basis of resistance. The frost hardiness of the variety is satisfactory, withstanding temperatures up to -33°C. The fruits are well preserved during storage under conditions of 0...+4°C, which allows them to be used as food from November to March. Due to these characteristics and qualities, the variety is recommended for cultivation in the Central Black Earth region and other suitable climatic zones.
