Fescue FERNFINE

German precision for professional turf

The «Ferfain» fescue variety is a premium solution from Feldsaaten Freudenberger GmbH&Co.KG, a German breeding giant synonymous with high-quality turf grass worldwide. Developed in collaboration with industry leaders like KWS Saat SE, this variety represents the pinnacle of European seed technology, specifically engineered for demanding turf management scenarios.

Why Ferfain stands out

The primary strength of this variety lies in its biological resilience. In climates prone to high humidity and significant temperature fluctuations, «Ferfain» exhibits superior resistance to snow mold. This critical trait makes it an ideal choice for high-traffic park areas, sports facilities, and residential lawns where maintaining a lush, healthy appearance throughout the harsh winter-to-spring transition is a priority.

• Purpose: Creation of dense, wear-resistant, and aesthetically pleasing turf.
• Seeding Rate: 30–40 g/m², ensuring a thick root system with efficient seed usage.
• Origin: German breeding excellence, designed for intensive maintenance regimes.

As the originator, Feldsaaten Freudenberger guarantees that «Ferfain» has undergone rigorous testing. For agronomists and landscape architects, this variety serves as a reliable tool to minimize crop loss risk during the challenging post-winter period, ensuring a quick, vibrant green-up when the season begins.
