Fescue GRANIT

A robust choice for low-maintenance landscapes

Hard fescue variety 'Granit' from the American producer Oregro Seeds is a top-tier choice for land management projects where durability and minimal intervention are the primary requirements. This variety is widely recognized for its ability to thrive in harsh environments, making it a staple for large-scale landscaping and reclamation efforts.

Field Application Scenarios

• Erosion Control and Slopes: Thanks to its vigorous root system, 'Granit' is highly effective for stabilizing embankments, roadside slopes, and areas prone to soil erosion. It creates a dense, protective mat that holds soil firmly in place.
• Reclamation of Marginal Lands: This variety excels in poor, sandy, or rocky soils. It is the preferred option for ecological restoration where irrigation or fertilization is not feasible or desired.
• Low-Maintenance Turf Zones: For areas intended to have a natural look with minimal mowing schedules, 'Granit' provides a consistent green cover that grows slowly and maintains its health without high-input management.

One of the key technical advantages of 'Granit' is its natural resistance to aphid infestations. This biological resilience minimizes the need for insecticide application, offering a sustainable and cost-effective solution for large sites. Unlike many delicate turf grasses, 'Granit' maintains its vigor and color even during periods of drought, ensuring reliable ground cover when water resources are limited.

When you choose 'Granit' from Oregro Seeds, you are investing in American breeding expertise designed for real-world reliability. It is a workhorse variety that provides professional results with minimal agronomic oversight, making it a preferred choice for landscape contractors and land managers aiming for long-term project success.
