Description STK 189 MV
STK 189 MV is an early-maturing corn (Zea mays L.) hybrid developed by the Agricultural Production Cooperative 'Kazyminsky'. The hybrid belongs to the three-line type, with yellow dent-type kernels and medium-sized ears. The stalk is red. This variety is characterized by medium grain yield with normalized dry matter content, meeting quality standards.

The hybrid is resistant to southern helminthosporium and has moderate resistance to ear fusarium, but is susceptible to ear smut and bacterial ear rot. It is weakly damaged by stalk borer, which enhances its reliability in agronomic use. The variety is recommended for cultivation in northern regions for grain and silage, and in southern regions — primarily for grain.

STK 189 MV is suitable for universal farming and is recommended for sowing after harvesting early spring crops. Due to its adaptability to various climatic conditions of the Northwestern, North Caucasus, and Ural regions, this hybrid provides ecologically clean produce with high yield, making it a profitable choice for agricultural producers.
