Trudivnik

Winter barley variety Tрудівник is a medium-maturing cereal variety recommended for cultivation in the Polissia, Forest-Steppe, and Steppe regions. It is characterized by high adaptability to various climatic conditions, including arid areas of southern Ukraine, ensuring stable yields. The variety has been included in the State Register of Plant Varieties of Ukraine since 2006, and its breeder is the Selection and Genetics Institute.

Plants of the Tрудівник variety have a height of 83 to 91 cm and a six-row ear type, which facilitates mechanized harvesting. The thousand-grain weight is 42–44 grams, and the protein content in the grain reaches 13–14%, making this variety valuable for cereal production. High cold resistance and frost tolerance (7 points) ensure reliable winter survival of crops.

The variety exhibits resistance to multiple diseases and stress factors and is not prone to lodging under adverse conditions. The yield potential is 9.5 to 11 tons per hectare, confirmed by competition trials. Due to its economically valuable traits, winter barley Tрудівник is a reliable choice for obtaining high-quality grain in various agroclimatic zones.
