Description RIC 340 MV
RIC 340 MV is a medium-maturing, three-row corn (Zea mays L.) hybrid, intended for cultivation in various regions, including Ukraine and the North Caucasus region. The plant is characterized by high stature and long ear with semi-silky yellow kernels. The silk emergence time is medium, and the silk lacks anthocyanin pigmentation. The angle between the main ear axis and side branches is large, with numerous primary side branches, which contributes to good ear development and yield formation.

The hybrid is characterized by high yield of normalized dry matter, averaging 110.1 c/ha, exceeding standard hybrids by 5.5 c/ha. Under recommended agronomic practices, the potential yield may reach up to 150 c/ha. RIC 340 MV exhibits good adaptability to various growing conditions, drought and lodging resistance, ensuring stable yields across different climatic zones.

Among the hybrid's features: high resistance to southern helminthosporiosis, medium resistance to stalk rots, and susceptibility to ear bacterial disease. However, the hybrid is severely damaged by stalk borer and susceptible to ear smut and Fusarium ear rot. RIC 340 MV is suitable for cultivation both for grain and silage, making it a versatile choice for agricultural enterprises focused on high-quality yield.
