Description Storm
Storm rodenticide is an effective agent for combating various rodent species, including mice, rats, field mice, and hamsters. The active ingredient is flocoumafen at a concentration of 0.005%, which acts as a potent anticoagulant. The mechanism of action of flocoumafen involves inhibiting the regeneration of vitamin K1, leading to disruption of the synthesis of proteins necessary for normal blood clotting in rodents. As a result, this process causes bleeding and death of the pests within 3–10 days after consuming the bait.

The preparation is available in the form of wax blocks, which maintain their structure, do not dissolve, and do not absorb foreign odors, enhancing their attractiveness to rodents. Storm is used both on open fields with cereal crops, potatoes, corn, and sunflower, and in storage rooms, warehouses, and cellars where rodents may reside. For effective pest elimination, blocks are placed in burrows or areas of rodent congregation with intervals of 10–15 meters on fields and 2 meters indoors, with bait renewal 3–4 times per week.

One of the advantages of the preparation is its long-lasting protective effect, which lasts approximately two years, allowing Storm to be used not only for eliminating existing rodents but also as a preventive measure. Due to the gradual action of flocoumafen, rodents do not experience distress or avoid the bait, which is especially important for eliminating individuals that refuse other rodenticides. The product is packaged in plastic containers of 1 kg and has a storage warranty of up to 60 months at temperatures not exceeding +30°C.
