Erasmus F1 Asparagus is a mid-early, high-yielding hybrid of Dutch selection, developed by the Dutch company Bejo Zaden. The plant belongs to the male type and is distinguished by its unique purple stem color, making it particularly attractive both for garden decoration and in the kitchen. Thanks to its resistance to sharp temperature fluctuations and high solar activity, asparagus is easy to grow even in open ground without strict soil quality requirements.

For optimal growth, it is recommended to sow seeds at a density of 4–5 plants per meter and place them in raised beds. This helps prevent stem bending, which can lead to crop lodging. Plants respond well to regular irrigation and the application of organic fertilizers, which promotes the development of sturdy, thick shoots with closed tips.

Erasmus F1 possesses strong immunity to mosaic virus, leaf curl, root rot, and bacterial blight, making it a reliable choice for gardeners. The asparagus taste is tender and slightly sweet, ideal both for roasted dishes and raw in salads. Seeds are packaged in lots of 500, which is convenient for planning planting and subsequent harvest.
