Asparagus «Signus» is a 100% all-male hybrid of white asparagus with medium-early maturity, distinguished by high productivity and stable yields of thick spears. The variety is ideal for cultivation under black-and-white films, in tunnels or mini-tunnels, ensuring a uniform stem structure without cavities.

«Signus» spears have a dense and thick shape, the internal structure is integral, and the tips are well-covered. The variety demonstrates high resistance to leaf diseases and hollow stems, making it a reliable choice for farmers. Optimal planting density is 5–6 plants per linear meter, and asparagus appreciates a balanced ratio of potassium, calcium, and magnesium in the soil.

The taste of the stems is tender with a slight sweet tint, making them appealing for cooking. The crop is marketed in fresh form, while seeds are packaged by the manufacturer in packs of 500 pieces, ensuring ease of planting and quality control. The variety was developed by Dutch breeding Bejo Zaden and is suitable for a temperate climate, ensuring uniform seedling formation and product uniformity.
