Asparagus BAHUS F1 – an early hybrid asparagus from Dutch breeding company Bejo Zaden, specifically created for growing in a temperate climate. The plant is fully male and differs in high stem homogeneity, dense closed bud, and thick foliage, which ensures a delicate taste and high product quality.

The variety develops excellently on light, fertile loamy soils, as well as in open ground and mini-greenhouses. To achieve maximum yield, it is recommended to maintain a planting density of 5 to 6 plants per meter (no more than 40,000 plants/ha). The plants do not require special care: it is sufficient to maintain optimal soil moisture, regularly loosen the soil, and remove weeds, as well as carry out preventive treatment against pests. Organic fertilization is possible.

BAHUS F1 is resistant to major diseases – fusarium, rust, and root rot, which makes it an ideal choice for a wide range of climatic conditions. Thanks to its reliability and ease of cultivation, this hybrid is quickly sold on the market for fresh produce, attracting the attention of both farmers and consumers who value quality and taste.
