Zernogradka 11 is a variety of soft winter wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) characterized by a medium-early maturity period and a semidwarf growth type with plant heights up to 105 cm. The variety is noted for its resistance to lodging and high winter hardiness, exceeding the average level, as well as good drought tolerance. The mass of 1000 grains varies within 38-50 g, ensuring high grain quality. The ear of Zernogradka 11 is prismatic, medium length and density, contributing to stable yield and harvesting convenience.
The variety possesses good baking and milling qualities, which is why it is included in the list of varieties valuable for grain quality. The yield of Zernogradka 11 in competitive trials reached an average of 8.7 t/ha, with a maximum indicator of 9.8 t/ha when grown on black fallow. The variety is resistant to brown and yellow rust, has medium resistance to powdery mildew and scald, and is moderately susceptible to glume blotch. According to breeders, it is also resistant to spring frosts, exceeding some other varieties in this indicator.
Zernogradka 11 is recommended for cultivation in the North Caucasus and Lower Volga regions of Russia, and is allowed for production in Ukraine. The variety is intended for cultivation on a high agrobackground with optimal sowing dates and a sowing rate of 4.0-4.5 million viable seeds per hectare. Zernogradka 11 seeds comply with state standards and are accompanied by necessary certificates, ensuring the possibility of receiving state support during cultivation.
