Corn NS 2060 is a simple hybrid of the new generation, developed by the Institute of Field and Vegetable Crops in Novi Sad (Serbia). This hybrid is characterized by a FAO maturity period of 280, ensuring optimal maturation under various climatic conditions. Plants reach a height of 250 to 270 cm, and the grain has a yellow dent type with a 1000-grain weight ranging from 320-370 g. Conical ear shape with 14-16 rows of kernels promotes uniform development and high productivity.
NS 2060 features high genetic yield potential, exceeding 120 ц/ha, making it attractive for agricultural producers focused on maximum output. The hybrid exhibits enhanced drought resistance and very high resistance to lodging, ensuring stable yields even under adverse weather conditions. Rapid water release allows timely harvesting, reducing losses and improving grain quality.
Recommended planting density varies by region: for forest-steppe zones, optimal density is 50-55 thousand plants per hectare; for central steppe — 45-50 thousand; and for southern and dry steppe — 40-45 thousand plants per hectare. This adaptability to different growing conditions makes NS 2060 a universal solution for various agroclimatic zones, ensuring high yield and economic efficiency.
