Wheat Pirytinka

Focus on Phytosanitary Reliability

The «Pyriatynka» wheat variety, developed by the National Scientific Center «Institute of Agriculture of NAAS», is tailored for agronomists who prioritize crop stability in regions with high infection pressure. Unlike high-input varieties that require frequent fungicide applications, this variety demonstrates strong genetic resistance to a wide range of foliar pathogens.

Key Advantages

• Natural Immunity: The variety shows marked resistance to Mycosphaerella leaf spot, rust, and brown spot. Notably, it exhibits high resistance to Septoria nodorum blotch, a disease that frequently causes ear blackening and significant yield loss.
• Yield Stability: With a potential yield of 6-7 tons per hectare, this variety is a reliable choice for mid-range farming operations. «Pyriatynka» delivers predictable results even with moderate chemical protection budgets.
• Adaptability: Developed with local soil and climatic conditions in mind, the variety offers excellent resilience against spring temperature fluctuations and environmental stress.

Who is this variety for?

«Pyriatynka» is an optimal solution for farmers aiming to reduce pesticide usage without compromising total harvest volume. Due to its robust «passive» defense system, the variety is forgiving regarding the timing of fungicide applications. To achieve the maximum yield potential of 7 tons, it is essential to follow recommended seeding rates, as the crop requires proper nutritional spacing to develop a healthy and productive stand.
