Description MOJITO
MOJITO — a three-line hybrid of mid-early maturing sweet corn, registered in the State Register for the Central and Central Chernozem regions of Russia. The plant has medium to high growth, slightly curved leaves with a small angle between leaf blade and stem. The ear is of medium length and thickness, with a silken type of yellow-orange kernels. Anthocyanin pigmentation is weakly expressed and observed on roots, tassels, silk, and ear stalk. The vegetation period ranges from 112 to 143 days depending on the region. Hybrid MOJITO demonstrates high yield: in the Central region, the average yield reaches 111 centners per hectare, 16.9% higher than the standard, at grain moisture around 21.2%. In the Central Chernozem region, the yield is 82.9 centners per hectare, 18.2% above the standard, at grain moisture 19.5%. These figures make MOJITO a profitable choice for grain cultivation in the specified regions. The hybrid's features include medium flowering time of tassels, few lateral branches, and medium angle between main tassel axis and lateral branches. Due to these characteristics, MOJITO shows good adaptation to climatic conditions of cultivation regions and ensures stable yields of quality grain.
