Winter wheat variety Gordian, developed by Syngenta Seeds GmbH and registered in 2017, is intended for grain use. This variety belongs to the early-maturing group and is recommended for cultivation in regions such as Forest-Steppe, Polissia, and Steppe. Gordian is characterized by high yield potential, averaging 55.8 c/ha in Steppe, 68.7 c/ha in Forest-Steppe, and 67.2 c/ha in Polissia, making it an attractive choice for farmers seeking stable and high grain harvests.

The variety exhibits high resistance to adverse environmental conditions and diseases. Gordian has good drought tolerance (8.5-8.7 points), resistance to lodging (8.8-8.9 points) and shattering (8.8-9 points). Additionally, it demonstrates high resistance to major diseases, such as powdery mildew (8.2-8.9 points), rust (8.5-8.6 points), and fusarium (8.8-9 points), ensuring crop protection and reducing the need for intensive plant protection.
