Generous Niva

Wheat of the 'Generous Niva' variety is a medium-early maturing winter wheat, recommended for cultivation in the Polissia and Forest-Steppe zones. Plants reach a height of 85-88 cm, with a vegetation period of 250-275 days. Grain is red in color, with a 1000-grain weight of approximately 45 g. The variety's yield potential reaches 9.3 t/ha (90-120 c/ha), making it a high-yielding choice for agricultural crops. The variety is characterized by high winter hardiness (8.6 points) and resistance to a range of diseases, including powdery mildew, rust, septoria, fusarium of the head, and root rots. The ear is cylindrical, awned, with long awns at the tip. An important feature is the protein content in the grain at 12.5-14.0%, as well as high baking value due to raw gluten content of 28-32%. The recommended seeding rate is 4.5-5.0 million germinating seeds per hectare, with the best preceding crops being peas, corn, oats, and cover crops. The 'Generous Niva' variety allows for effective use of wheat's genetic potential under various agrotechnical conditions, ensuring stable and high yields. Due to its resistance to stress factors and diseases, it is suitable for cultivation in challenging climatic conditions.
