Maize ESM 601x

Reliability in the field: the ECM 601x experience

When choosing a hybrid, predictability is the most valuable asset. The ECM 601x by Euralis Semences brings that exact quality to the table. As a three-way cross hybrid, it shows remarkable adaptability, performing consistently regardless of soil fluctuations or seasonal weather shifts. This hybrid is a workhorse that rewards good agricultural practices with top-tier results.

Disease resistance in real-world conditions

Corn diseases like Fusarium and boil smut can wipe out a season's profits. However, the French selection behind the ECM 601x truly shines here. A healthy plant means cleaner grain and safer silage, which is essential for both market quality and livestock health.

Versatility: grain or silage?

The ability to use the same hybrid for both grain and silage provides significant operational flexibility.

• When harvesting for grain, the ECM 601x shows excellent moisture release, which significantly lowers drying costs.
• For silage, it produces a nutrient-dense mass with an optimal starch-to-fiber ratio, making it a premium choice for dairy and beef operations.

Operational efficiency

The three-way hybrid structure gives the crop a strong start, ensuring vigorous seedling development. This early-season robustness helps the crop shade out weeds quickly, reducing the need for intensive herbicide applications. Thanks to the work of the originator, Mr. Pero Karolo, the fields are remarkably uniform. Managing these crops is straightforward; the hybrid fits perfectly into standard agronomic cycles, making it a comfortable choice for any farm manager focused on results.
