The winter wheat variety Mironovska — a domestic high-yielding soft wheat officially included in the state register since 2013 and recommended for cultivation in the forest-steppe and Polissia zones. This medium-maturing variety features a strong, medium-thickness stem about 83 cm tall, providing plant resistance to lodging. The ear is long and cylindrical, without awns, the grain is oval, medium-sized with a red hue. The 100-grain weight is 43.1 g, and the grain density is 764 g/l. The crude protein content in the grain reaches 16.9%, and crude gluten content is about 30%, indicating high grain quality.
Mironovska exhibits high genetic resistance to powdery mildew, brown rust, and leaf septoria, although fungicide treatments are recommended for protection against certain diseases. The variety has high drought resistance, rated 9 points, allowing cultivation in both dry regions and areas with sufficient rainfall. Due to these qualities, Mironovska demonstrates stable yields, reaching 7.37 t/ha under favorable conditions and maintaining high total output in less favorable ones.
The variety belongs to the intensive type and is suitable for sowing across the entire territory of Ukraine. Its resistance to lodging and shattering makes it convenient for mechanized harvesting. Mironovska can be grown both with and without mineral fertilizers, expanding its applicability under various agronomic conditions. The high grain quality and stable yield make this variety an attractive choice for farmers focused on obtaining high-quality and voluminous yields of winter wheat.
