Mironivska Slava

Mironivska Slava — this is a soft winter wheat variety developed by the Mironivska Institute of Wheat and the Institute of Plant Physiology and Genetics of the NAS of Ukraine. It belongs to the mid-maturing group and is recommended for cultivation in the Polissia, Forest-Steppe, and Steppe zones. This variety is characterized by high genetic potential and yield, which can reach 10.24 t/ha, making it promising for widespread adoption across the entire territory of Ukraine.

Wheat Mironivska Slava is distinguished by high resistance to many fungal diseases, such as powdery mildew, root rots, brown rust, leaf septoria, fusarium of the ear, and hard soot. It also demonstrates drought tolerance and the ability to withstand stress factors, ensuring stable yield even under unfavorable conditions. High stem density allows reducing the seeding rate to 4.5 million seeds per hectare, which contributes to saving seed material.

The grain quality of the Mironivska Slava variety is high: the test weight is 780 g/l, crude protein content ranges from 13.4 to 14.6%, and crude gluten reaches 32%. The variety is well adapted to soils with low fertility, making it universal for various agroclimatic conditions. In addition, the high straw yield provides additional advantages, such as fuel savings in bread production.
