Gospodinya Myronovska — this is a winter wheat variety, registered in 2017 and recommended for cultivation in the Polissia, forest-steppe, and steppe zones. It belongs to the medium-maturing group and is characterized by high winter hardiness and drought resistance, ensuring stable crop development under various climatic conditions. Plant height ranges from 100 to 125 cm, and the 1000-grain weight varies from 38 to 52 g, indicating the variety's large grain size.
The variety exhibits high yield potential, reaching up to 10.9 t/ha at individual check points, with an average yield of about 5.0 t/ha. Gospodinya Myronovska has strong straw, which significantly increases resistance to lodging and helps preserve the harvest. Additionally, the variety demonstrates high resistance to shattering and grain sprouting, which is important for maintaining the quality and quantity of harvested grain.
Grain quality is characterized by high protein content (13–14.2 %) and crude gluten (27.6–28.5 %), making it attractive for grain usage. The variety is resistant to several diseases, including root rots, leaf septoria, brown rust, powdery mildew, fusarium head blight, and hard smut. The recommended seeding rate is 4.5–5.5 million viable seeds per hectare, with a planting depth of 3–4 cm, ensuring optimal conditions for germination and plant development.
