Wheat Ladizhinka

A reliable choice for intensive farming

"Ladyzhynka" is a breeding development from the Institute of Plant Physiology and Genetics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, widely favored by farms focused on producing high-quality milling grain. This winter wheat variety fits perfectly into crop rotations due to its balanced combination of productivity and strong resistance to diseases, which is critical in Ukraine's variable climate.

Agronomic advantages

The variety shows exceptional resistance to brown rust and powdery mildew. This genetic protection allows agronomists to optimize fungicide application costs, reducing the chemical load on the crops. A vegetation period of 280–290 days makes the harvesting campaign highly predictable.

• Stand density: Forms 5.0–5.5 million productive stems per hectare, ensuring uniform canopy coverage and efficient use of nutrition areas.
• Grain quality: A gluten content of 25–30% allows it to consistently meet high-quality standards, simplifying grain marketing to processing facilities.

Practical experience proves that "Ladyzhynka" reaches its full potential in fertile soils when seeding rates are observed. The variety responds well to mineral fertilizers, converting them into a high-quality ear. For farms where both volume and grain class are top priorities, this variety serves as a reliable tool for achieving target profitability.
