Perlinia Forest Steppe

Perlinia Forest Steppe is a winter soft wheat variety recommended for cultivation in the Polissia and Forest Steppe regions of Ukraine. It belongs to the medium-maturing group with quality class "valuable" and is characterized by high yield potential, reaching 4.8 to 9.8 tons per hectare. Plants of this variety have a height of 88 to 100 cm, and the grain is red and large, indicating high grain quality.

The Perlinia Forest Steppe variety is distinguished by high resistance to various diseases, including brown rust and powdery mildew, as well as drought and lodging. It also tolerates winter temperature fluctuations and frost, making it a reliable choice for regions with variable climatic conditions. This is an intensive type variety that positively responds to application of mineral fertilizers, enabling stable high yields.

The recommended seeding rate is 5.5-6.0 million viable seeds per hectare. Perlinia Forest Steppe has been included in the State Register of Varieties of Ukraine since 2001 and is widely used in agriculture due to its high agronomic performance, resistance to stress factors, and grain quality.
