THE BOAR is a variety of soft spring wheat (Triticum aestivum L.), developed by FSBSI «Upper Volga Research Center for Agriculture». The plant is medium tall, late-maturing, with a semi-erect bush, which ensures convenience in cultivation and care. The variety is characterized by good resistance to lodging and drought tolerance at the level of standard Trizo, making it a reliable choice for various climatic conditions.

The THE BOAR variety is recommended for growing in such regions as North-West, Central, and Volga-Vyatka, including Kaliningrad, Vladimir, and Kirov regions. Yield varies depending on the region and ranges from 27.4 to 36.3 centners per hectare. The weight of 1000 grains is within the range of 36-45 grams, which indicates good grain quality. The baking qualities of the variety are rated as good, making it in demand for flour and bakery production.

The variety has moderate resistance to hard head blight but is poorly resistant to fusarium head scab and brown rust, requiring attention when protecting plants. Seeds of THE BOAR variety are available in ELITE reproduction and supplied, including through LLC NPP «Zaraiskiye Semena» with warehouse availability in the Tula region. This allows for quality planting material to be provided for successful cultivation and obtaining stable yields.
